“ 4 of us had a great steak meal here on a busy Saturday - booked the window table a week ahead. 2 of us shared the 900g porterhouse steak for 75 and it was very nice and cooked to medium rare as asked for. I had the posh looking and nice tasting beetroot starter (see picture). Tried the smoke popping cocktail beforehand on The Bit on the Side in their adjoining bar - great fun if you ask for them to wow you, talented barstaff! Don't think it was on the menu. All in all, a good restaurant for a group of people with varying food and drink tastes and nice to impress with next door for a relaxed drink beforehand. ”
“ What a place! The staff were lovely and just the right level of attentiveness. Couple of mistakes but we are only human and the staff dealt with it quickly and professionally. We went for Thursday Steak Night and the steak was one of the best steaks i’ve had, couldn’t quite match the one I had in Uruguay . Seasoned just right and cooked perfectly to medium-rare. The red wine jus was outstanding, and the house wine is now going to be on our wine rack. Thanks to all the staff, including the chef, who made our evening; we will be back again for some more steak! ”
